Entebbe to Northern Wildlife Region
After breakfast, leave Entebbe and travel toward northern Uganda. The route provides a fascinating introduction to rural landscapes. Depending on the final itinerary, an appropriate conservation stop may be included.

Day 03
Game Drive and Nile Experience
Wake early for a game drive. Search for giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hartebeests and predators. Later, join a boat safari along the Nile.
Look for hippos, crocodiles and wildlife approaching the riverbanks. Enjoy the dramatic landscapes associated with Murchison Falls.

Additional Northern Wildlife Experience

Travel toward Western Uganda

Continue to Kibale Region
Travel toward the green highlands surrounding Kibale. Tea plantations and forest fragments characterize the area. Arrive at your lodge and relax.

Day 07
Chimpanzee or Forest Experience
Where included, join a chimpanzee trek after a morning briefing. Listen for calls echoing through the forest while trackers locate the habituated community. Watch chimpanzees feeding, grooming, traveling and interacting during the permitted viewing period.
Spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying a wetland experience.

Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, continue south toward Queen Elizabeth. Enter the park and begin game viewing. Look for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs and warthogs.

Queen Elizabeth Game Drive and Kazinga Channel
Begin with a morning game drive. Search for lions, elephants and antelopes. In the afternoon, join the Kazinga Channel boat safari.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast, attend the compulsory briefing and begin your gorilla trek. Experienced trackers guide you through Bwindi’s mountainous rainforest. The trek may be short or may involve several hours of walking.

Return to Entebbe
