Day 01
Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your safari begins early in the morning with collection from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala by your professional safari guide. After a comprehensive safari briefing, you begin the journey towards southwestern Uganda. Leaving the busy city behind, the landscape gradually changes into fertile agricultural countryside characterised by tea plantations, banana plantations, papyrus wetlands and traditional villages. Your first major stop is at the Uganda Equator for photographs, the water demonstration, craft shops and refreshments. Continuing southwards, rolling hills replace flatter landscapes as you enter Uganda's highland region. Upon arrival at your lodge, check in and enjoy dinner while your guide briefs you on the following morning's gorilla trekking experience.Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 02
Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, your guide transfers you to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters. Following registration and a detailed ranger briefing, you are allocated to a gorilla family and introduced to your ranger team. The trek begins through dense rainforest. Depending on where your assigned gorilla family spent the previous night, the trek may last from less than one hour to several hours. Your ranger interprets the forest, identifies wildlife and shares information about mountain gorilla conservation. Visitors are allowed up to one hour with the gorillas under current Uganda Wildlife Authority regulations. After your hour ends, walk back through the forest and return to the lodge. Optional afternoon activities may include a Batwa cultural experience, community walk, guided nature walk or bird watching.Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 03
Return to Entebbe
Following breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Entebbe through Uganda's scenic countryside. Depending on timing, refreshment stops can be made along the route. You arrive in Entebbe during the evening where your guide transfers you to Entebbe International Airport or your preferred hotel.Main Destination: Entebbe
